Baga Touriga Nacional, by Luis Pato
Beiras, Portugal. Baga is the key grape varietal in Portugal’s Bairrada zone and Luis Pato is considered the “King of Baga.” This medium-bodied blend of 60% rustic Baga with 40% of the more elegant Touriga Nacional is a classic which brings out the best of both varietals – raspberry, violets and a hint of bitter chocolate – with just enough drying tannins to frame and sustain the finish.

Coelheiros
Arónez, Alicante, Alicante Bouschet varietals | Alentejo, Portugal The vines are non-irrigated, allowing for deep root systems that facilitate the perfect maturation of the grapes into robust and ripe wine that is fermented with indigenous yeasts before being bottled in aged barrels that enhances the beautiful characteristics of the grapes. Conde Vimioso
Tourita Nacional, Cabernet Sauvignin, Castelão, Aragonez, Trincadeira | Tejo, Portugal Hand harvested and de-stemmed. Gently crushed and fermented in wooden vats following a long maceration. Aged in new and second year French oak barrels for 18 months before bottling. Deep garnet in color. Mineral aromas, prune, wile blackberries, and spices on the nose. Soft, with robust and complex tannins which confer great aging potential. Red fruits bland in the structure with elegance. Ends with persistent notes of black fruits.

Complex and elegant aromas, with notes of ripe black fruits, violets, spices, and a subtle hint of cocoa and vanilla. Structured and harmonious on the palate, with firm, well-integrated tannins. Maçanita "Letra F"
Douro, Portugal Maçanita’s Letra F reflects the ever-evolving landscape in the wine world: a fresh, field-blend wine hailing from some of the most intriguing vineyard sites in the Douro from 70-110 year old vines. 70% red and 30% white grapes. Ruby color. On the nose, red fruit tinged with white flowers and mineral notes. On the palate, fresh and lively, with bright acidity, showing intensity and concentration of aroma. Tannins are long, fine, and grippy, guiding this lighter-bodied red to a very saline finish.

Parés Baltà "Grosella"
100% Sumoll (Native, nearly extinct black grape variety) | Catalonia, Spain Red currant in color, with a brightness in the glass. Forest fruits with intense aroma on the nose. Refreshing red cherry and herbal notes and a little fresh peppercorn. Perfect acidity balanced with the aromas with a vibrant finish.

Rouge Clair
80% Grenache, 20% Syrah | (Rhone Valley), France On the nose, delicate aromas of strawberries, mashed raspberries with floral notes. Clear on the palate with well balanced acidity. Ideal with light dishes or a sunny aperitif. Designed to be chilled or even served on ice! Grapes are grown at lower vinification temperatures in order to obtain a less tannic red with freshness and fruit while keeping a 12.5% abv. In fact, the label, (always written in Braille) is thermochromatic: the world "Fresh" appears when the bottle is immersed in water less than 12º C (53.6ºF)

João Pato- Nerd Duck
Natural from Portugal. This nerdy red wine is made from two indigenous white varietals, but spends some skin contact time with baga (a red varietal). The result is a brightly colored ruby red, with wild red fruit and rose petals on the nose. Spiced pear, plum, bay leaf, and white flowers on the palate. Light- medium body, refreshing mineral finish.

Clarete Hugo Mendes
Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz (Tempranillo), and Touriga Franca | Lisboa, Portugal Light, juicy, chillable red, from Lisboa. Early harvested, with a super gentle extraction. Fermented and aged in stainless steel. Red fruits with grassy notes, very fresh, even pairs well with seafood!

Cesanese
100% Cesanese | Lazeo, Italy Newly recovered ancient Italian grape, Cesanese. Deep red in color, with fine tannins. Medium bodied with ripe plum and berry, a little black pepper spice, with a medium long finish. Great chilled or room temp!

Chão de Sal
Azores, Portugal A wonderful "secret" wine from Paulo Machado. It is a Palhete, which means co-fermentation of white and red grapes, mixed planted old vines that include Verdelho, Arinto dos Acores, Saborinho (i.e. Tinta Negra), and Isabella, one of many hybrid red varieties... all of which is not allowed to be produced commercially under EU regulations. Quite the rebel wine! Crunchy strawberry fruit, hints of umami and a lot of character coming from the sea salt terroir, hence "floor of salt."

On the palate, the refreshing acidity, peach and citrus. Slightly smoked with a long, elegant finish.

Celler Piñol, L'Avi Arrufi 2019
Grenache Blanc | Terra Alta, Spain Vibrant, mineral-driven citrus and orchard fruit aromas are complemented by honeysuckle, ginger and a touch of quinine. On the palate, bitter pear skin and Meyer lemon flavors show very good depth and vivacity, along with a firming jolt of smoky minerality. The finish unwinds slowly, showing excellent concentration, persistence and lingering floral character. This white has aromas of wet stones and a terrific earthy minerality. The wine shows a creamy texture in the mouth, with bright acidity that underpins the wine's structure, finesse, great complexity and great length on the palate.

Rosé



Chinon "Mathilde" Rosé,
Created in 1987, our estate is located at "Les Chesnaies" in Cravant les Coteaux. We grow cabernet franc (for red and rosé wines) and chenin blanc (for white wines) on about 17 ha in Cravant les Coteaux and Chinon. Organic farming has been practiced for almost 20 years. Since 2005 the vines have been worked biodynamically, without the use of chemicals. Dry, with a good body.

Dogma Rosé
Blaufränkisch and St. Laurent varietals | Burgenland, Austria Dogma from the Pittnauer family is a super pleasant rosé, it’s fruity and aromatic. It has a charming scent of strawberry and cream in the nose followed by a hint of smokiness. Super balanced on the palate with delicious aromas of raspberry and watermelon and a mineral finish.

Maçanita Rosé
100% Touriga Nacional | Douro, Portugal Fresh crushed strawberries, bing cherries and cherry blossom aromas on the nose. On the palate, juicy and fresh. Sour bing cherries add a tart brightness and adds a beautiful texture and balance with a touch of white pepper spice.

Uivo Curtido
Moscatel Galego | Douro, Portugal a tart, refreshing orange wine that has come to somewhat define the category. 100% Moscatel Galego given around 4 months of skin maceration, done gently and never to exact too much tannin or color. The wine is beautifully aromatic, floral and enticing, with notes of lychee, green papaya and tangelo. The finish is long and salty, keeping you coming back for more.

Kite Duck
98% Baga, 2% Maria Gomes | Bairrada, Portugal This orange wine (still considered "white" wine on the bottle) is unique in that is uses the juice from the Baga grape, which is a very dark red and produces high acidity and pronounced tannins, and then ferments the red grape juice with Maria Gomes grape skins, which is an aromatic white grape known for it's spicy character with floral and citrus notes. The resulting technical "Orange Wine" is light, zesty, with notes of citrus and stone fruits on the nose. Medium bodied with a dry acidity and a medium finish. On the palate, flavors of apricot, cranberry and peach with some funk and zestiness.

Curtimenta- Hugo Mendes
100% Arinto | Lisboa, Portugal A pale yellow wine with aromas of citrus fruits such as grapefruit, ripe lemon, and nectarine, along with a well-presented fresh vegetal aroma. Non-agressive tannins are balanced with the fruit for a very dry wine with a slight sourness freshness on the finish. Great for even those who are no into skin-fermented whites.

Morgado da Vila- Private Collection
100% Avesso | Vinho Verde, Portugal Aromas of dried apricot, orange peel, grapefruit with subtle honey. Herbal undertones on the palate, with a lovely textured mouth feel. Stone fruits like peach and nectarine with some earthiness and notes of tea leaves.

100% Baga | Bairrada, Portugal Another great wine from Luis Pato, showcasing the Baga varietal. The grapes have a very brief maceration and are aged on the lees for 4 years. This is a very dry wine with hints of brioche, a robust mouth feel, and hints of chalky minerality.

Morgado da Vila
Alvarinho and Loureiro blend | Minho, Portugal From a subregion of Vinho Verde, Portugal- this is Rafael's favorite Orange Pet-Nat! Floral aroma given by the Loureiro variety and vibrant citrus from the Alvarinho, lingering yeast nuances typical from this style of sparkling. The bubble is fine and persistent with great texture on the palate and a touch of sweetness to balance the crisp acidity. This sparkling is a "raw" unfiltered and natural wine with all the original sediment inside.

Nua Hybrid
This is cider with a twist! Fizzy, fresh, and fantastic! Strawberries, apples and fresh cranberries. NUA Cider rose is an artisanal cider form the Douro region in Portugal. Made with 96% heirloom apples and 4% red grapes. Naturally sparkling, a little bit funky, and really fun.
